Rodge Brook

We love it when local people help to contribute to this website, and today a big thanks goes out to Carol and John Jewett who have enabled us to publish a page on their local water-course, Rodge Brook. This is one of the island's lesser known streams, flowing from Parkhurst into Clamerkin Lake. Major Updates November 2019

We have been really busy this month! The Island Rivers Catchment Plan has had a major update. It is a live document reviewed annually and is a framework for identifying opportunities and delivering collaborative projects to improve the Water Quality of all the Isle of Wight river catchments and coastal and groundwater, to reduce Flood Risk and improve Water Resources and Bio-diversity. Great Solent Bird Watch

30th November - 8th December Join in with the Great Solent Birdwatch this winter by spending one hour on the coast recording the birds that you see. Come along to one of the Rangers events during the week or head out to your favourite spot around the Solent to do your survey.
