Thanks to funding from Natural England, Gift to Nature have been removing willow and an oak tree from Munsley Bog in order to make it wetter. Changes in land-use in the surrounding area has meant that the bog which is fed by a spring is no longer as wet as it used to be. The trees also extract water and together this has resulted in scrub taking hold. With financial support from Godshill Parish Council Gift to Nature are also replacing the rotten boardwalk, and a new interpretation panel will follow.
